Equine Chiropractor in Harlem, MT
Harlem sits right in the middle of Blaine County ranch and rope-horse country, and it's on Short Go's summer Hi-Line route. Dr. Leo — a Montana native who roped at MSU–Northern just down the line in Havre — brings certified equine chiropractic straight to your barn or corral. No hauling a sore horse for miles. We come to you.
Built for Blaine County Working Horses
Around Harlem the horses earn their feed — ranch geldings covering ground, rope horses, and rodeo horses hauling all summer. That mileage and all that stop-and-turn loads the spine, pelvis, and shoulders, and when a joint quits moving right the horse compensates without ever telling you. It surfaces as a short stride, a missed lead, or a good horse that's turned sour.
Dr. Leo is cAVCA-certified through the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association and knows Hi-Line horses first-hand. We serve barns and ranches across Harlem, Chinook, Zurich, Dodson, the Fort Belknap area, and the surrounding Hi-Line during summer trips.
Signs Your Horse Could Use a Look
Your horse can't tell you his back's locked up — but he'll show you. A few of the things we hear most around Harlem:
Off His Times
Fit and sound, but leaving tenths on the table — especially turning or stopping one direction.
Lead & Lateral Trouble
Won't take a lead, swaps behind, cross-canters, or braces hard one way.
Cinchy or Cranky
Pins his ears at the cinch, head-tosses, or has gotten "suddenly difficult" under saddle.
Short or Uneven
Short-striding up front, "off behind," or building muscle unevenly on one side.
Stiff After a Haul
Came back tight from a rodeo or a long trailer ride and never fully loosened up.
Summer Tune-Up
Hauling hard all season and want to keep him right through the run of summer rodeos and brandings.
We Come To You
No hauling a sore horse down a gravel road — we work him right there in his own pen or corral.
cAVCA Certified

Montana-Raised

Also Along the Hi-Line
Harlem is one stop on the summer Hi-Line swing. If you're east toward Havre or beyond, we may be close.
