Equine Chiropractor in Great Falls, MT
Great Falls is home. Dr. Leo grew up here before he ever put a hand on a horse's spine, and every summer he comes back to work the barns and arenas of the Golden Triangle. Short Go brings certified equine chiropractic straight to your place — no hauling a sore horse across town. Our number's already a 406.
A Hometown Practice for Great Falls Horses
From the fairgrounds and rodeo grounds to the ranches out toward Belt, Fort Shaw, and Cascade, Great Falls runs on working horses — barrel horses, rope horses, ranch geldings, and the good using horse that has to hold up all season. Every one of them loads the spine, pelvis, and shoulders the same way, and when a joint quits moving right the horse compensates. You feel it as a slow time, a dropped lead, or a sour attitude.
Dr. Leo is a Great Falls native, an MSU–Northern team roper, and cAVCA-certified through the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association — he understands these horses because he grew up on them. We serve barns and ranches across Great Falls, Belt, Fort Shaw, Cascade, Vaughn, Choteau, and the surrounding Golden Triangle during summer trips.
Signs Your Horse Could Use a Look
Your horse can't tell you his back's locked up — but he'll show you. A few of the things we hear most around Great Falls:
Off His Times
Fit and sound, but leaving tenths on the table — especially turning or stopping one direction.
Lead & Lateral Trouble
Won't take a lead, swaps behind, cross-canters, or braces hard one way.
Cinchy or Cranky
Pins his ears at the cinch, head-tosses, or has gotten "suddenly difficult" under saddle.
Short or Uneven
Short-striding up front, "off behind," or building muscle unevenly on one side.
Stiff After a Haul
Came back tight from a rodeo or a long trailer ride and never fully loosened up.
Summer Tune-Up
Hauling hard all season and want to keep him right through the run of summer rodeos and brandings.
We Come To You
No hauling a sore horse down a gravel road — we work him right there in his own pen or corral.
cAVCA Certified
Dr. Andrew Leo, DC, is certified by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association — hundreds of hours of training, not a weekend course.
Montana-Raised
A Great Falls native and MSU–Northern team roper who understands ranch and rodeo horses from the ground up.
Planning the Summer Route
Short Go is based in Texas and comes home to Montana during the summer. Trips are planned by area, and the schedule fills up — the earlier you reach out, the easier it is to route your barn in. Tell us where you're at and how many head, and we'll let you know when we're rolling through. We're glad to coordinate with your veterinarian as part of your horse's care.
Also Rolling Through the Hi-Line
On the same summer swing we work barns up along the Hi-Line. If you're east or north of here, we may be close.
Booking Summer Barn Calls in Great Falls
